You can share your wine tasting tour plans with friends through Facebook, rate wine estates and their wines and share your adventures with friends.
The word wine is synonymous with South Africa´s wine rich cultural history. WineMe ensures you have the best experience possible and that you won´t miss out when it comes to deciding where to visit, which wines to purchase and how to get there. Think outside the box, explore South Africa´s amazing winelands, landscapes and wines with us. Make friends with other WineMe followers and keep an eye out on your favourite estates´ twitter feeds for specials and event notifications.
Plan a Wine Tasting Tour with your friends:
Step 1:
Connect by clicking "Facebook Connect" or "Sign Up".
Step 2:
Use the Search bar to do a keyword search or click "Detailed" to perform a detailed search. Under the detailed search options, you can specify your favourite wine varietal and the wine region you will be visiting, as well as other small details, such as "Open Sundays" or "Child friendly".
Step 3:
You will now see the wine estates that match your search criteria. You can view their details and start planning your very own wine tasting tour. In your tour plan, you can add your home address (or the address you will be driving from) and can even see travelling distance & times between estates you will be visiting. You can share your trip plan via Facebook, Email etc. Perhaps invite your friends to join you on your journey of wineland discovery.
Step 4:
Download your plan to your GPS or print the directions.
Dont forget to come back and leave a comment on the estates you have visited. Give them a rating (rate the wines you have tasted as well) so that others can follow suite and enjoy a similarly amazing experience.
