Cabernet Franc

Cabernet Franc [cah-burr-NAY FRAHN ] Although closely related to Cabernet Sauvignon, it is lighter and is generally used for blending with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot in the Bordeaux style, however it may also be vinified alone.Cabernet Franc is one of the varietals one can almost always count on to age well. Aromas may include peppery perfume, tobacco, raspberry and chassis, sometimes even violets.
