Champange

Champange [Shawm-pine] is reknowned world wide, for the effervescent quality of the wines produced that is created while going through a secondary fermentation process in the bottle. It is produced exclusively in the Champagne region of France. Although the method of production of these gorgeous wines is replicated in many parts of the world, international law prohibits producers from referring to their reproductions as Champagne. The wines come in a range of styles from bone dry/ natural to dry/ brut to slightly sweet and even sweet /sec/demi sec. In South Africa wines produced using the same method of production as used in creating Champagne’s are referred to as MCC or Méthode Cap Classique.
