Pinot Blanc
[Pee-noe BlahN] is a white wine grape and a genetic mutation of Pinot Gris which is a clone of Pinot Noir. It produces white wines that are white, dry and full to medium bodied wines. Generally high in acid and low in aromatic intensity, the aromas and flavours one can expect with this wine include almonds, apples, melons, vanilla and butter. Pinot blanc is generally made for immediate consumption and seldom meant for cellaring.
