Tinta Barocca
Tinta Barocca is the South African name for the Portugese vine, Tintas das Baroccas. The vines grow quickly and mature early, producing a delicately and subtley flavoured wines. It is best grown in cooler climates and is often blended with other varieties in order to soften a blend, adding perfumes and vanilla tones. In South Africa though, it is often made into a single varietal.
