Vintage Port

Vintage Port is made from the grapes of single vintage year. The port is required to be aged in barrels for a minimum of two and a half years before bottling. To reach its full potential though generally vintage port requires another ten to thirty years from bottling before it reaches it full potential. The wine retains its dark ruby colour and fresh fruity flavours and will continue to gain complexity as the decades go by. Highly sought after, the prices for these wines tend to be higher than the average wines.
